The room was clean, the bed was very soft but comfortable, the one person we saw at the facility for our three day stay was most helpful and pleasant. Parking for my handicapped wife was close enough, and there was a ramp to get to room level so she didn't have to take the steps. There were added electric plug-ins near the bed for our modern number of devices.

I enjoyed my stay. Everything was great. Staff was very nice and helpful. I stayed here during the eclipse, so pricing was a little high, but that’s understandable.

My girls and I wanted a relaxing and peaceful vacation and that is exactly what we had. The view from the house is spectacular and the owners are truly amazing people who want to make sure you have everything you need. There were breakfast amenities so you could go about your day as planned. The art and gardens were a beautiful backdrop for great pictures. The property is gorgeous and we look forward to staying again.

Great for older folks like us.
Great for older folks like us. Ozark Folk Center was great and the music was awesome. Down town was perfect for walking but needed more restaurants. Didn't get to stay for the music but we heard it was awesome!

Great view of the mountains!
Great view of the mountains!
Small town with friendly people.
Music in the park!
Shopping for unique items in flea markets and antique shops. Our best time to go is the folk festival in the spring and the bean festival in the fall.

We came to Mountain View for the fall bluegrass festival at the Ozark Folk Center. Music was great. The center is a great place to visit. Town square is fun too. My best advice is bring lots of cash because many places do not accept debit or credit.

The town was so delightful, with several things that we would have liked to explore more. We went to the park to enjoy folk music jam sessions. It was such an enjoyable place. The community seems to be very invested in making their town a wonderful place to be!

Ozark Folk Center was an unexpectedly wonderful place to find one-of-a-kind gifts. My group bought arrows wrapped in rattlesnake skin, pottery, fused glass pieces and (in the main shop) lots of unusual jams and jellies. Lunch at the iron Skillet was nice.
The City Park is nearby and is quite interesting with old stonework and lovely paths by the stream. In another week the leaves there will be on full fall display!
The unassuming Mexican restaurant by the Dollar Store was a FABULOUS find! I had the cucumber salad with chicken that had a cheese sauce. It was AMAZING!
We loved Mountain View Guest Motel/RV Park. It was quiet with lovely views and was amazingly clean.
Nice owners, family run motel; comfy bed. Nice hot shower, large closet. Absolutely LOVED the abundance of outlets. Sorry I did not get to use the pool. Parking is in front of each unit. Easy access to the attractions in Mountain View. I spoke to DC, the owner about the lack of grab bars in the tub, and he said that he had a shower chair I could have used (wish I had known). He also said he would look into adding some grab bars to some of the rooms. We liked the small table with chairs that was in the room.
A nice, family owned motel that met our needs for one over night stay. Older bed, furniture and utilities. The guy at the front desk was sloppy looking and I was uncomfortable checking in. After settling in for the night we were pleased with the bed and quiet time they established throughout the park. The town of Mountain View is small and there is no big name hotels, so we had limited choices of hotels/motels. I am glad that we chose this motel.
Beautiful, spacious cabin with gorgeous Mountain views and a crystal clear creek and swimming hole with great fishing. The owners were wonderful and were just a call or text away if needed. The fuse to the oven blew and they had a maintenance man there in less than 20 mins so we could get dinner on the table. Me, my husband, 4 kids and dog will definitely be back again. This was a trip to remember!!
The property was very cute and comfortable. It was well equipped with everything one would need for a nice stay without worries. It was very clean and you can tell a lot of thought went into making it a nice , welcoming place. We especially loved roasting s’mores in the fire pit! A lovely spot close to town and not too far to enjoy everything Mountain View has to offer.
Staff was very friendly. Like everywhere right now, they are working short handed but the service was just as good as if they were fully staffed. I could see them outside running around to get work done everyday. Many times in older hotels you have to run the water awhile to get hot water, but not here. Could just get in and take a shower.
Loved this small quirky place! Lovely mountain view, comfy beds, and VERY CLEAN! Very quiet. Mix of RV camp sites and motel rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. AC, fridge, & microwave all worked well. Great hot water pressure in the shower. Short drive to music on the square, the Folk Art Center, or the City Park. I will be back!!
Shawna/New Owners are top shelf!!! Friendly, helpful, and what they have done with the property is wonderful. Best view off our balcony Ive ever had in the Mountain View area!! Had wild turkeys off the back balcony one morning & deer another. Peaceful, clean, and A GREAT LOCATION!!
Everything! Chris the owner was a treat to talk to and accommodated us having to leave before breakfast was actually served. He made us to-go boxes and made sure we had enough of everything! If we ever come back to mountain view, we are for sure staying with him!
This was a cute little house perfect for our small family. It was exceptionally clean, plenty of extra towels, and just around the corner from Sylamore creek which is what brings us back to Mountain View every summer. Wonderful stay.
Located close to a lovely park which music and singing from locals and an ice cream shop across the street. Also enjoyed the subway next door from the hotel. This hotel is in a very nice location with very nice people who run it.
I loved the location. It was isolated and quiet without being too far from Mountain View. There is a walking trail down to the river, and the lawn is well-maintained. Even had wood available for a campfire.
The cabin was exceptional... It was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. Fantastic experience and will definitely stay again when I travel to Mountain View.
They need new flooring, new mattresses, and new air conditioner!! The room smelt old and musky . Even for a cheap hotel it shouldn't have smelt like that.
